This is a lot to spill onto a text box, but I will try to make it short as possible. I lost my grandparents and two people, who were friends of my family and could have possibly been potential step-dads if my mother would have chose to do so, in a window of 11 years starting in 2010. I thought I got all the grieving out I could but lately I find myself crying for all of them because I'm in a time right now that I could use their advice and support. I normally wouldn't bring this up in a group or forum but with my depression the grief can make the feeling worse. I think part of it is I'm not grieving properly. Does anyone here have a comfort item you carry with you when you go out? For example this is my doll, Annie, and I've recently been bringing her with me when I run errrands flor have an appointment. Holding her comforts me. I've bought her clothes, crocheted for her, I recently bought a personalized blanket with her name on it. Just wondering if anyone else has a comfort item.

i lean ever so gently into the grief and go where it takes me. i shoot to feel every tear as a tribute to a love worth missing. i have a grief song i sing while i miss him.
small steps, big faith and lots of prayer. let god lead the dance.
I'm sorry that you've lost people that you love
I know that it hurts
Big hug...xo
