Bereavement Support Group
Are you grieving the loss of a loved one? Whether you lost someone recently or it's been years, grief and its accompanying emotions can be complicated to cope with. Join our online support group to connect with a supportive group of people who really know how you feel. Help is right here.
First of all I am so sorry for all your losses. I think there is a cumulative effect, sort of the idea that the stress of the entire picture is more than the sum of the stress of each part of the picture.
There are a lot of support groups here on DS, each with a fairly focused purpose. You have found the bereavement group, that is really good!
There is also a widows and widowers group designed for (obviously) widows and widowers. Here is a link to that group:

There is also a depression group designed for people battling depression. Here is a link to that group:

I personally am in the depression group, but as I am morning the loss of my parents and sister, I have not joined the W&W group.
I am not suggestion that you quit this group and join one of the others. Far from it! You are free to join as many groups as you desire! Each one of those two groups should be able to give you some support in your hard time. The W&W group may be a good next place to go since it sounds like a lot of your current issues are related to the loss of your wife.
I have no idea what it really means to lose a wife; I do know that I would be in a really bad place if I were to lose mine. 3 months is a very short time, my guess is that you are really just getting used to the shock, and all the other emotions are like blasts from who the heck knows where.
Can you get a referral to a trainer who can help you design an exercise regime that will help you lose weight? (I am in a weight loss group here, and one thing I've learned there is that diet is what lets us lose weight, and exercise is what lets us keep it off. But the reality is that both diet and exercise helps us lose weight!)
Do you have a target for weight loss? It might work to your advantage in that having a concrete goal that you can track might help you focus some of your nervous energy on things other than grieving.
I found a bereavement class through a local hospital; it is helping me a lot, mostly knowing that others are having trouble like I am.
Sorry to go on and on!
Again I am sorry for all your losses.
Gentle hugs
I have lost some weight without exercising, so just try to eat some better foods. Not so much fast food. I have fallen off my healthy wagon, but I was really focusing on losing weight and was doing it slowly, but after my sister passed away--we were doing it together--I had no interest. But I still lost 13 pounds even though I had slipped and gone back to fast food.
Don't feel pressure to actually go out and exercise, just do what you can but focus more on the eating. And no TV dinners as they are full of salt.
We all think of someone who is still with us and think you would not make it without them. That's exactly the way I felt about my sister and she is gone and I can not believe it is true. I used to think what would I do without her, I wouldn't make it, it's just the two of us. What would I do? It's the worse feeling in the world.
