I'm still having such a hard time dealing with Gene's death. I think about him every moment of everyday and miss him more now than before. I am grateful for the 18 yrs I had with my husband...No regrets...The problem is that all the dreams and places we were to go "When we retired" " when the kids were bigger"... that chapter is closed. while he was sick over a 3 1/2 yr period- I still had hope, I tried to do things with our "new Daddy"...
