Bedwetting (or nocturnal enuresis or sleepwetting) is involuntary urination while asleep. It is the normal state of affairs in infancy, but can be a source of embarrassment when it persists into school age or the teen or adult years. Hello. I have accidents and wet myself a lot. I wet the bed every night to. My mum has helped me try to stop it with an alarm and a nose spray and not drinking at bedtime but it keeps happening. The doctor said my bladder is very small and it has not grown up properly like the rest of me but she said one day it will catch up. Does anyone know what I can do to make it stop.

I've just been updating my profile information because I had a birthday last week, and so I'm now 25 instead of 24. I have tried the nasal spray but it didn't really work for me because it made me have fewer accidents but when I came off the spray it just went back to what it was before.
I tried an alarm when I was 14 and it didn't make me stop. And again at 16 and the same. And now I'm using it again and it's going really well and I think that's just because my body is ready for it.
It's good that your mum is trying to help but if you're like me with a small bladder it's difficult. My doctor says to drink lots of water in the day and then not much before bed but it's important to be hydrated and have pale wee not dark yellow.
Keep trying and it will happen one day when your body is ready. I just wish my body decided to be ready earlier just like you do. But even though my bedwetting is getting less it's still happening some nights and it will be the same for you one day :)
There is no magic formula to cure bedwetting. You just have to be patient, sorry.
There’s medicine like Desmopressin but it may cause unpleasant side effects so again, it’s not a magic recipe.
