Zero Gravity Chair? advice on chairs?

A Lazy Boy replacement for Dad? My dad (76 yrs) just had his 5th back surgery and is in terrible pain. I'd do anything to help. Those zero gravity, massage, tempurpedic chairs promise a lot, but DO THEY DELIVER???

I hate to spend the money if they don't.

Has anyone gotten relief from a recliner chair? It has to be as comfortable as his Lazy Boy. Because he is GOING to watch TV.

I need a recliner idea. He is stubborn as a mule and won't consider a straight back.

I personally don't have a recliner chair. why you must ask? Because that is where I would spend my life. Everyone I have ever sat in, put me to sleep. Must be something in the fabic.lol Good luck, I just had back surgery on the 16th of March. Peace and quick healing to your father.

I have a zero gravity lawn chair and I absolutely love it! I've had 4 lumbar surgeries, I can tell you that they are the best! Go for it!

I have a zero gravity lawn chair. My third one. I love sitting in it on my screened in back porch. Since surgery as long as someone is there to help me out of it. But while sitting in it, wow. Better than sex.

Thanks for everyone's replies. Dad won't even hear of it. He likes his lazy boy and that's it. HOWEVER I'm going to go try one. My friend has one and I tried it and liked it. But she lives out of town and I can't remember if it supported my head enough. I basicaly don't have any disc left between C6 and C7 and need some support. I'm going to wait on it.

I bought my zero gravity lawn chair for $65.00 at Bed, Bath & Beyond. I also have cervical issues and mine is heaven. Give it a try. The leather ones are super expensive.

    Is anyone here allergic to Sulfa that is currently taking Diamox? I have been diagnosed with IH now for almost 2 years.
