Hello everybody,i'm new here and I'm glad there is a place for me to go and talk to others with some of the same issues as me.
I have 4 herniated disc's in my lower back from a work injury when i was in my early twenty's.
I also have Graves disiase that attacked my lower back and my legs.i was so weak,i could not get up myself or sit down.i would just fall if not assisted.I have been very active up to this point in my life, but now i can hardly do anything that involves standing up.I have been to phyical theropy but it would only help for about 1 day after.
I am afraid of the surgery I feel the doctors are in too much of a hurry and don't care about my wellbeing.what i have been doing at home is lay on my bed flat on my back and have someone pull on both my legs and my back will go back into place.at least untill i bend over again.
what i was wondering was,has anybody been using an inversion table with anything good to say?,i tried one once and it did make my back pop back in line but the blood going to my head was hard to take.
sorry so long.

hi kevin!! i am also new to this site and its wonderful! i have two herniated disks, l4 and l5, and now they think there is something amiss with my sacrum. my back goes out with any little movement, i never know when its going to go. i have a lot of muscle tightness, which i have been stretching for for two years. i am scared to death of surgery, and after reading all the negatives about the epidural shots on this site, i'm afrain to do this too!! i walk around like a robot, afraid to move to much so the pain isn't so bad. that is, when the pain isn't in my leg and i can walk!! this is supposed to be the best time of our lives now, and we got stuck with this bs! have you tried orthotics??

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
