I was too busy this past week to look at much of the posting, so didn't see any of the verbal abuse eb2340 was reported to have posted. Good think someone is watching.

When I post, it is just to let others what worked for me (the natural methods) so that others have an option to see if it is a possible avenue of investigation for them to look into. I offer it strictly as a "take it or leave it". Some things may seem a little weird, like using a medical intuitive to get help, but it worked for me and I note such in case readers here have not heard of that option and may want to investigate it. I'm actually an electrical engineer and it's a big stretch for me to even admit that any method other than the scientific method of statistical testing is of benefit. Or that other medical approaches can get results, like homeopathic methods. But I investigated, tried them and they did help. I sometimes wondered if my posting might have been deleted considering I was describing an approach that was way outside the medical or scientific "norm".

I like what Pacyetep wrote in describing eg's one message. eb seemed to go way beyond "what worked for him". But as soon as it gets verbally abusive - how does that help anybody? I didn't see the personal attacks, but I too am glad of the the monitor and removal of offensive opinions and personal attacks.

Nice way of putting it, Doug. The other thing that was on my mind was the idea that something like bentonite could REPLACE everything else to treat afib and prevent stroke. I am all for the natural way of doing things and open to the idea that a plant, herb, minerals (bentonite is aluminum, phyllosilicate clay, not magic) can do much of what engineering chemicals can do. I also was concerned that bentonite's absorbent properties could inhibit the action of afib drugs and anticoagulants. I don't know, I just can't assume it wouldn't make the drugs pass through the body with the other things. petey

There is a big difference between proposing a treatment and insisting that it's gospel and that all other ways are evil. Combine that with arrogance and abuse and it becomes clear that the treatment being force fed has little to do with caring and more to do with selfish intent.

I'm also very grateful to the administrators for removing a terrible negative in such a positive forum. In forums like this we may not know each other personally like those in our immediate lives but our time here builds unique friendships as we help each other through this condition. No one wants to have their friends attacked and disrespected and it's clear by the response of our member/friends during this problem that we're truly here for each other on many levels.

Well, I'm glad the real men here on DS (evidently) came to the defense/rescue of CLane and company.

Yeah, you missed a good one....a new member was trying to educate us about the homeopathic way to cure afib...but the dupes and lackeys of the big pharmaceutical companies (Petey) wouldn't have any of it. Meanwhile, I ate a 40 pound bag of bentonite to make darn sure I was cured....maybe I should have spread that out over TWO meals...sorry you missed the fun. It was actually pretty exciting there for awhile!
