Healing thoughts and prayers

Thank you all so much, your prayers (and good dose of love) were exactly what I needed. This ablation was even less problematic than the first and I'm doing very well so far. Just occasional faint PAC's the first day, but they are pretty much gone today. By this time last time I'd had several episodes of afib already, so the quietness of my beautiful heart is a blessing.

It seems there were more spots of tissue that could not be provoked into afib during the first ablation that the EP was able to locate this time and ablate. He also said the high heart rates were not VTach or Flutter, but since the tissue was where it was, it was able to get more organized and less chaotic than usual and become more rapid. No ventricular problems and no muscle scarring or damage, thank heavens.

I'm not on any anti-arrhythmics, just Metorolol and Xarelto.

Again, I'm so grateful for the kindness, caring and support I've found here. Thank you! Wish me continued NSR, as I do all of you as well.

That is great news, thanks very much for the update. I am so happy that everything went so well and you are feeling a lot better. Hopefully your heart is going to heal well and you stay in NSR for years to come.

Great news! Now if I remember correctly, the last time you wanted to go back to work after a week. Not a good idea. Please stay relatively quiet for at least two weeks, maybe start walking outside a bit after seven - ten days to so (if its not a furnace out there in MN like it I here in NJ. Don't stress yourself, let it heal.

Also, keep an eye on you rate. Once my AFIB had stopped, the 25 mg of metoprolol I was taking took over and my heart rate went under 40 BPM. I stopped the metoprolol with a week after my ablation.
