A moment of prayer for you~

Thanks Yogacat! Today was great. Checked in the Clevland Clinic at 6am. Fantastic professional meeting with the Doctor and his team as they call it a huddle. Just like a football huddle. Every detail explained. Procedure was complete by about 3:30pm. Had a little bleeding in groin area so had to stay down flat til 11:00pm. Back was a little sore. Cleveland Clinic care ha been unbelievable. I was in NSR when I checked in. Remain so after meeting Abby. Doctor feeling like it was a text book success and was extremely pleased. Time will tell. Very impressed with everything here. I can go back to work Monday (take it slow) and can resume intense workouts in 1 week. Will use a wrist monitor once a week or when I have any afib episode. I am blessed!!

Wow it sounds like it went great for you! I hope it sticks for good. I hope mine will go so well when I have one. Keep us posted!

Paul I hope your heart stays quiet for a long, long time! Im glad everything went well. Take it easy for a while even if you feel well. Just because you dont have a zipper up your front, doesnt mean your heart didnt get some pretty harsh treatment!!

Thanks Cindy. 48 hours after the start of my procedure I feel good. Groin area is a little tender, and still a bit of the "heart burn" feeling. Not too bad though. I will likely go to work tomorrow. Heart is in NSR and I am not having and hiccups. Amazing process and I believe the PVI ablation process must have come a long way. Also while I was at the cleveland clinic, the number of folks have the procedure was amazing. Young and older, Black, White and Asian. I feel blessed. Hope you all have a great day.

So the ablation was Friday, I was able to go to work on Monday. The only complication so far was a very small hematoma at the entrance area on one of my legs. I can resume exercise on Friday, but I may wait til Saturday. I have been given the green light. NSR all along. I will be checking in once a week with a wrist/phone monitor. Hope it holds up.

So glad your procedure went well. I had my ablation at the Cleveland Clinic also. Those docs really do things well. Take it easy and let yourself totally heal!
