Atrial Fibrillation (AFib) Support Group
Atrial fibrillation (AF or afib) is an abnormal heart rhythm (cardiac arrhythmia) which involves the two small, upper heart chambers (the atria). Heart beats in a normal heart begin after electricity generated in the atria by the sinoatrial node spread through the heart and cause contraction of the heart muscle and pumping of blood.
When is your date with Abby?
Details, Concerns??
Glad you could laugh. I am scheduled for September 12. I had been persistent but went back into NSR after riding riding Mistery Mine at Dollywood three weeks ago(no joke). This after two cardioversions. So I think my chances of success have improved. I was diagnosed in February.

You're not alone, we are all here Cheering for you!!
I get to meet Abby Friday morning ater a few routine exams Thursday afternoon. A little anxious but not to bad. Crazy thing is, I have been in NSR for about 6 weeks now(I think). My wife thinks I should reschedule but I assure her that afib will likely show its head again so why not take a shot. I am 50, exercise daily, have 2 children still at home and I think I can beat this (okay, maybe manage this ). I will let you all know how it goes.
My only concern is how the doctors will treat me because my steelers just beat up on those lowly browns....lol.
Have fun,
Paul
