Atrial Fibrillation (AFib) Support Group
Atrial fibrillation (AF or afib) is an abnormal heart rhythm (cardiac arrhythmia) which involves the two small, upper heart chambers (the atria). Heart beats in a normal heart begin after electricity generated in the atria by the sinoatrial node spread through the heart and cause contraction of the heart muscle and pumping of blood.

I'm currently near the completion of the Federal Style side table. It still needs two more coats of Waterlox (tung oil) and a coat of wax (that's on top of the current 3 coats of shellac and two coats of Waterlox. Of course I still need to make the top (which will get some inlay and Federal style fans) and the bottom of the drawer and add a knob to the drawer. The piece is made out of walnut, the cuff and skirt banding is birdseye maple and ebony, the paterae is maple walnut and holly, the stringing is holly.
The piece before that is jewelry box-10 made from walnut with a cocobolo top and holly inlay.
The previous piece is a Jefferson Lap desk, copied from the one in the Smithsonian. That's made from Honduras mahogany.
I saw two tables similar to the Federal style on I'm working on. One is a lot more decorative with turned and reeded legs. I don't yet have turning skills. The other is a Queen Anne style with cabriole legs, lots of carving. I may take some carving classes over the coming months so a could make that table. We'll see.

I returned to the gym last week and my workout is now at about 50% of my previous performance level. I'll slowly push it back up over the next month. I'll return to work next week (still three shifts per week). I see the EP in two more weeks, he'll read my imbedded Reveal LINQ monitor. Will report again after I see the EP.
It's funny how you get to caring about strangers on boards like this. I know you'll have good luck with this procedure and look forward to any updates you care to share.
hope your afib stays nil my friend...good luck to you...tony

I went back to the gym over two weeks ago and have slowly been ramping up. I'm now at about 80-90% of my previous level. I started work again last Tuesday (I work three shifts a week) and have not had any issues. All in all I'm doing rather well. I see the EP again in six months. I hope all the other aging athletes here can do as well -g-.
Seems to be good news from everyone right now- wonderful.
I still have the chronic a - fib but was doing pretty well until a little over a week ago! I started with low back pain - never suffered with back pain ever! Dr. Says I must have strained something exercising!! Prescribed Tramodol and muscle relaxer - didn't even get them filled.
I have so much gas pressure in my ab. that discovered I was passing somuch gas and kept gradually relieved most of day but at night in agony. Read on Internet gas pressure can cause low back pain! Always had lots of gas but especially since taking all my medications! Go figure! Any thoughts on this? Not a pleasant subject!
Keep up the good work:)
