Asthma is a disease of the human respiratory system where the airways narrow, often in response to a "trigger" such as exposure to an allergen, cold air, exercise, or emotional stress. This airway narrowing causes symptoms such as wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, and coughing, which respond to bronchodilators.
Asthma attack....what a nice wake up call.
I've had more trouble with my asthma in the last 6 weeks then I ever did in the last 6 months. They're coming more often and lasting way longer. My allergies have been bothering me too...but they always do. I'm on singular, nasonex and advair everyday and it still isn't doing a lot of good, since i haven't stopped sneezing in days, and I've had 4 asthma attacks in two weeks.
I'm so sick of sneezing and coughing and wheezing and itching all the time. I hate that I can't visit my best friend because she has a cat, and I hate that I have to fight with my sister over her wearing perfume (that's a fight that I'm losing by the way). I hate that i can't just eat anything I want....I have to be careful about food allergies/asthma/environmental allergies when all I want is to be spontaneous!

Rabbits
Bird Feathers
Mold
Some flowers (lillies, dasies, carnations, etc)
Dust
Tree pollen
Grass pollen
Weed pollen
Perfume
Smoke
Aspirin
Ibuprofen
Penicillin
Amoxicillin
Strawberries
Cinnamon
Shellfish
Fish
Milk
Raspberries
Kiwi
Cherries
Melon
Mango
and it sucks!!! that is way too much stuff for one person to react to. I hate it.
Can asthma and allergies just go die in a hole right now?

maybe you should go back to the doctor. tell them that you are still sneezer and cough. maybe they can put you on something else that work. sorry that you are have alot of asthma attack. they need to put you on better med to control it. i hope you feel better soon. hugs

sometime you have to go to the doctor to feel better. maybe you can get someone to go with you. that way you would not be alone and not be too scared.

Not to mention that with doctor's visits come costs. I have insurance, but my last ER visit was $1,500.00, PLUS the doctors fee of $350.00. This does not inculde the labs they drew or the chest X-ray that they did. Nor does it include the specialist's bill, the blood work he ordered, or the $200.00 bill from my family practice doc who sent me to the ER. My boss said on Thurs: "if your asthma is so bad, why don't you just go back to the doctor?" Gee... I wonder. Did wind up going back (primarily to get a doctor's note for job protection) but I wonder: Gee, boss, YOU wanna cover all the bills? Then she wondered aloud (while we were on the phone and I am wheezing and coughing 'till I gagged), how can we rely on you when we don't know when you'll have an attack or how long it'll last? Gee, boss, wish I could predict the onset and duration of every attack! I hate this!

On Saturday, while I was at yard sales with my best friend, my lawn guy texted me that he did my lawn. This costs me $70 every two weeks or so. I don't have great grass so sometimes, he skips.
