Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
On Saturday, while I was at yard sales with my best friend, my lawn guy texted me that he did my lawn. This costs me $70 every two weeks or so. I don't have great grass so sometimes, he skips. Anyway, I paid him on CashApp when I got home. On Sunday morning, he texted me again, to say goodbye because he was moving. My little thinking cap went on and I thought about how I am healthier these last few years and can actually do yard work by myself, even though it's not my favorite thing to do. I texted 2 of my brothers for their advice as to buying a lawnmower. They jumped on it. Later that day, my brother who I hang out with the most made me check out his electric lawnmower because it is very light. It was the next best thing to a toy lawnmower. So I ordered one yesterday morning and it is being delivered today. My handyman is coming tomorrow to put it together for me. So anyway, about the money part, between mowing my lawn and fall clean-up, I was paying almost $1,200 a year in lawncare. My new lawnmower was $300 and I'll have to invest in a weed wacker and some other tools to do fall clean-up. My lawn guy put all of the leaves in the woods but I want to clean that up as it looks terrible. Otherwise, he would have charged me $500 to put the leaves at the road or bag them. Considering that I won't be bringing in a paycheck from the school for 2.5 months, this move is actually necessary. When I do spring clean-up, I kind of enjoy being outside. Also, it's exercise! Oh yeah, more money for yard sales! This weekend there are no town-wide yard sales so I'm getting a break from yard sales. They are fun but take a lot of time out of my Saturdays.

It's been some time since my last post...sorry. I've been going through a challenging time with the sale of my home, purchase of a condo and my adult asperger son that lives with me. I've had days where I couldn't get out of bed, days where I stayed in my pj's and days where all I managed to do was eat, drink fluids and take care of my Sweet Mia kitty. Sweet Mia came to me from a shelter about...

If I come to DS and it won't do anything when I click "Login", I go to a post, click and then click "Leave a Reply". Then it will let me log in.Of course, sometimes DS just goes to "Error 504". Then I can't log in.

enjoy! ! !
I don't think I will do the garden. The ground is too sandy and it would be costly.
I also used a battery string trimmer, it was good. The trick is charging your batteries after every use and maybe have an extra one so you have two.
I depend on a great yard guy, not a company and he looks older and older and I shudder when he is ready to retire. We treat him so nice because he is so nice to us, treats us so nice.
