Frustrated.....

My asthma is really acting up lately (last 2 days) the temps outside are up and down. One day it's in the 60's the next day its in the 40's I don't do well when it goes from warm to cold. I've been on the nebulizer for 2 days. If I call the doc she will put me on prednisone. I don't want to go on prednisone because I'm getting ready to have surgery on my knee.
Another warm day tomorrow 67 and cold on Sat. low 50's. I just want to pull my hair out.

Any suggestions?

Stay inside as much as you can. I know thats impossible for some, but thats bout the best advice I can give you. I know what you are going through.

the weather do the same thing to me. it would be better if the weather would stay at one temp. i do unstanding how you feel. what i do is take my nebulize med and try to relax. try not to do too much. try to drink enought water. try to stay warm. if you do got to go outside on a cold day then you should put scaft on your mouth. that way the cold air will not hurt your breath. i hope you feel better soon. hugs

Well, I have to go out a little bit. Staying inside is not an option. I have to go to work.
Today its in the 70's tomorrow it will be in the 50's. Crazy weather. At least I can do my neb treatments at work if needed. (work in a hospital)

that good that you can take your neb treatment when you need them at work. i hope you get your asthma under control soon. hugs
