does her counceling teach her coping skills ? I know thats not really the answer , but will give her alittle bit of what to work with , aka a starting point if you will ,

Therpy helps to learn how to control it, especially like occupational to adjust to the world and the assults it throws at me. So I would highly recommend that as much as possible. Also, I was put in physical therpy, although for another issue it did help me as well. I would look into that as well.
Try and get her on SSI if possible just in case. I know it sounds harsh but if things don't approve, it gets really hard when your over 18 to get SSI if you need it. Plus, if she can go to college and wants to and has that, iti will make it easier if she has the option not to work.
