Asperger syndrome - also referred to as Asperger's syndrome, Asperger's, Aspergers or just AS - is one of five neurobiological pervasive developmental disorders (PDD), and is characterized by deficiencies in social and communication skills, normal to above normal intelligence, and standard language development.
I'm autistic, isolated, and don't have a lot of people to talk to. Anyone want to chat? I'm 31, female. My hobbies include art, listening to music, collecting stamps and postcards, casual video games, reading, chess, and board games.

I've been on high dose prednisone for pneumonia, and now I am slowly weaning. But lots of symptoms I don't like having, plus overeating has put at least 10 lbs on me. The food is "loud" as the GLP-1 users refer to it.Also pressured speech. Which comes out in my posts. Sorry I posted so much. I just need an outlet for my agitated and irritable brain. Has anyone heard from Jenn, she had an adult son with aspergers, Eric, they lived a long time with her grandmother, then they moved into an apartment. I'm really glad to see you have so many hobbies!!! Just as a thought of what my son does, he doesn't have any friends that he goes out with...mainly friends where he works is all. He belongs to a discourd group that builds models and has created some nice friendships with the people there...one is gay, another trans, I think there are 10 in the group...just an idea :) I'm going to copy and past now and send to the cl I spoke about above. That room is quiet, never been that active. I'm on the spectrum myself, I have an adult stepson with asperger's and another with autism, we are in the UK but they came from the US originally.
My asperger's stepson mentioned "Wrong Planet" although he has now left, I think it was over the bickering that went on, but you may find people with similar interests and a few girls there.
