Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
So as I've said before I've been diagnosed now for 5 years with Agoraphobic anxiety, I didn't leave my house for a total of 6 months straight when I was first diagnosed. Eventually it started getting easier to deal with and have been good for a year and a half with no bad attacks. Then this past Saturday I was riddled with anxiety all day while at work! Had a altercation with an employee that day that triggered even more anxiety then usual and was able to calm myself down.
fast forward to 3 hours after I finally finished work I'm driving with my mom going to a work outing for team bounding (I work with my mom lol) I'm fine taking stories but in my mind I'm still freaking with anxiety next thing I know my right arm starts having unbearable pressure and goes numb then my right foot goes numb then boom my right eye starts twitching uncontrollably! Boom full blown panic with no way to control it then all of a sudden I'm laying on the ground in the bowling alley with paramedics around me.
saying I freaked my mom, myself and all my co workers out is an understatement. I was sure I was dying that night but when I got to the hospital every single test they did came back normal. This illness has got to be the worst thing ever! I constantly think I'm going to die and I can't take it anymore I hate feeling like a crazy person.
thank you all for reading and for always commenting and reassuring I'm not crazy just needed to document this and see if anyone else has it this bad or am I just lucky. Looking forwards to your responses!

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
In my own case, by the time I reached psychotherapy, that organic switch which regulates those hormonal infusions was stuck in the "ON" position. I was hyper-vigilant to the extent where I saw threats everywhere. One of my shrinks called me, "An all-natural speed freak."
Fast forward a few decades and I now focus on my physical symptoms far more than I do the object of my current paranoia. I use therapy tools to purge and regulate those hormonal discharges before I expect a return of my full brain function.
But that is me and every case is unique.
Gentle support while you sort your own case.
For what it's worth
I've accepted myself as a crazy person. Done well and compassionately, crazy can be a very good thing. Crazy has a far greater sense of humor. than so-called sanity Laughter really is good medicine. Don't cure it. Train it.
Since your physical health checked out okay, we all also need to check on our mental health as well.
Have you seen a psychiatrist lately? They are medical doctors who deal with anxiety and other mental issues. I think that would help you.
Also, do you have a therapist? Talking to a therapist who treats anxiety (ask them in the beginning if they do) will also help you to deal with anxiety, health anxiety and panic attacks.
There is help out there. Just have to make those appointments. Go in for a consultation. See what they say. Got nothing to lose, right? And hopefully it will help.
You are not alone. I've had anxiety disorder for over 20 years. We have to keep trying.
Glad the tests came back normal, so you can work on the natural techniques to reduce the anxiety helper back within normal range.
