For me, I feel a heaviness in my chest and stomach area when I am feeling very anxious. I hate having that feeling in my body. Am I the only one who physically carries it with me? For me it is like something is really bothering me and that has created this feeling within me, if I could get to the bottom of what is bothering me than that feeling would be lifted? I would love to hear if any of you experience this weird sensation within yourselves? Thanks.

yes,my anxiety does manifest itself physically...i feel a heavy weight
on my chest, and i get the sense that it settles in my neck and shoulders which are always tense and sore...
it does indeed get better when my anxiety is about something tangible that i can deal with....it is a little more difficult when it is free floating though....
I've had the chest, the back, the abdomen, the leg/arm weakness, the heart, and all I can say, is this is normal.
The one thing that helps to reduce these sensations naturally fast, is hydration.
Best wishes to feeling better.
