Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

It seems like when you have anxiety it never ends. It is like a rollercoaster. Up and down. Anxiety is something that is manageable but not cureable. And if you need the medicine to help it then take it. That's what it's there for. It is like a vicious cycle over and over. I do hope you find some relief. Here's to finding your balance and having better days ahead. Italianmomma4ever
I'll second the notion of experimenting with different words to help you sort through the thoughts associated with anxiety. In my own anxiety management, I even go so far as translating my OCD thought loops to other languages. Changing the words often helps me change my perspective.
I’m sorry to hear you’re going through so much anxiety. I too get anxiety off and on throughout the day/night and take Ativan to help this process. If the medicine helps then thank goodness we have it to keep ourselves in a state of calm. I’m also on a new antidepressant that has been helping some. Have you ever tried an antidepressant? If you find the right one it may help with the anxiety. Keep your chin up and know you are a strong person and can get through this! - Emma
I have had periods of time when i have felt well and long for those times to return.
I’m so sorry to hear that you are having a rough time because of anxiety. One of my sisters was diagnosed with anxiety and I understand how you feel. I saw her struggling and it was hard for me to see her in that condition. She refused treatments which made it more difficult for her.
Me and my other sisters are her support group. I talk to her about anything to let her know that she’s not alone. I encourage her to join a life group but at first she was hesitant because she’s shy. After a few meetings, she started to like it and it helped her to slowly improve her mood.
She has dogs that she walks everyday and that’s also her exercise. Exercise is the natural anxiety solution, that’s according to research. She also does gardening and volunteers in our community. Please stay strong. I hope you will feel better soon. If you have someone you can talk to, it would be great.
Feel free to post anytime. We are here for you. God bless you with His peace and strength.
