but whenever i have to go to the doctor, I am fine up until the point he walks into the room and then this uncontrollable urge to cry comes over me as if I have some life threatening issue (even though I go in for a check up). It never fails when I go to the doctor. I am not afraid of doctors by any means. I am not afraid of needles and actually express curiosity when tests are run. I guess I am just afraid of the possibility of the symptoms I state being something serously wrong.
I still haven't figured out how to deal with that but if someone has suggestions I am ready and listening.
There are medications like Xanax that can bring the pulse rate down pretty fast. Talk to you doctor about them.
