Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
Sometimes I get grumpy really fast and my family or I don't understand why. An example is today we left our home and went to the store before going to a friend's house. In the two minutes that it took to get to the store withpeople driving around me, my heart rate accelarated. It wasn't enough that my heart was going faster, but it also felt like it was hot on fire. At the same time as these physical feelings I was getting grumpy at those around me, like at my kid yelling in the back seat, the idiot driver that almost turned into me because he didn't want to give me my right away, or the person that parked in a yellow zone and I took the space next to it. My spouse went in to buy something quick and the whole time I'm worried that if this person backs out they'll hit my car with me and my kids in it and what the hell is taking my wife so long?
Besides the thoughts and the warm, fast-paced feeling, is this an anxiety attack? Or is it just anxiety?

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
Instead of focusing on the "what ifs", play some word games with the kids in the car, do something silly, distract your usual thought pattern.
Best wishes.
