Medication is still my friend; because I am also bipolar and subject to runaway thoughts, I take an antipsychotic to help with my anxiety. But I also use positive affirmations, Knowledge (i.e., I've had this before, it's Just an anxiety attack, I Know how it works and what to do, etc etc).

When that happens, it starts to subside.
It's hard - of course it is! And it's nice to have groups like this so we can talk about it and encourage each other. You can Do this! :)
