It started like this:
Last Sunday night, I came home from a long day with my girlfriend. I found my mom drinking red wine and was of course drunk. It was no big thing cause my mom doesn't drink alot. At least not anymore. My little brother has asthma problems and that very same night he was coughing. Around 1:30am my mom bursts into his room and demands my bro to take his asthma inhaler. Because he was trying to sleep, he got extremely mad. To make a long story short, because of all the noise everyone at my house got up to see what was wrong and we all started arguing. My little brother still decided to go to school that morning. But at school, he felt tired. His teacher asked if he wanted to go lie down at the nurses office. He obviously said yes. When he got there, the nurse couldn't understand what he was saying cause he was to tired to function. For some odd reason she referred him to the school psychologist. She asked him why he was so tired and he said and I quote "there was a situation at my house yesterday" the psychologist told him that they are going to launch an investigation to see what happened. And now we have a social worker coming to my house sometime soon. I'm not worried as much because we have the a good living condition, my mom always maintains the house clean, and we always have food in the fridge. But I am worried they are going to take my brother and my little sister away from my mom. And I replay in my head how that might play out and I have massive anxiety. I don't know what to do.

The investigation will show that which you have written. It is already in motion, so just be positive, and know that it is a requirement to be investigated.
Your brother did nothing wrong in answering the questions by the school psychologist.
Treat the social worker with respect.
You are not alone.
The social worker came today and asked all kinds of questions. Some that i was shocked by. At the end, she told my mom that there isnt a real case here. She believes that it wad just a bad day. But she is going to have to come back a few more times. I feel much better now
