Hello everyone,
First I will start off by saying I was recently diagnosed with anxiety. What I thought was the beginning of the flu turned out to be a panic attack. I experienced heart palpitations, sweating, and nausea... I went to the doctor and we talked a lot & he had told me what I experienced was a panic attack. It was the scariest thing I've ever been through. He recommended joining a support group or talking with someone. I'm so busy so when I stumbled upon this website it seemed perfect. I really hope I can manage these attacks...please give me your pointers! Now all I do is think about when the next attack will come.
I have an issue with self diagnosing myself with crazy things just because what I experienced was nothing like I've ever experienced. I'm scared. I know I have a lot going on with being a full time student, working full time, and balancing a social life. Please share with me any thoughts or advice. Anything is appreciated.

My therapist really knocked some sense into me last Friday about my spending. She said that there are needs and there are wants. So today, I am taking back some things that I bought online at Kohl's, namely a 9 x 12 rug and a quilt for my bed. I also bought sheets that I don't need...
Best wishes and welcome to this group!
