Weird email from walmart

It said I wasn't qualified as much as others to be a cashier. I have been doing it since 2007 and learned before that in 2001. Seems fishy to me. They take high school kids! So I went back and did more of a variety of job applications. Guess I will see what happens with them. I am going to call a friend who retired from cashiering a few years ago. See what she thinks.

Weird. Cashiers will be gone in ten years. They are a dying breed. Keep us posted on what job you get offered.

Supply and demand is a factor in employee shopping, as well. Sometimes a business finds itself well supplied in qualified candidates. Other times the pickings are so slim that they will hire anybody with a pulse.

My guess is the the Covid recession has unemployment rates high enough that they can afford to be picky. Just guessing. . .

I've been told. I wasn't call center material before. But then I found a job I've been happily employed at for four years now. And can't imagine how much I wouldve hated staring at a computer talking on the phone for 10 hour shifts.

That said, maybe something better and more fulfilling will come along for you. Keep your head up and your options open.

Hey There,

Even though it said you may not have been as qualified as others for the position I would not put to much thought into it.

What I mean is that it may just be a generic response to your application. Who knows how many people the person that sent it to you had to send an email to. So instead of addressing each person individually they may have just copied and pasted.

Of course this is just speculation. Best wishes to you.

    I did the dumbest thing today.  I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds.  I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym.  What a dummy!
