I have come so far from the person I was a few years ago but I still fall into the habits of that person that seems a lifetime ago. I wish that I could take news better than I do. I always go to the negative and overthink. Like, any situation that I wish I could get out of I hyper focus and overthink about it. Just because I'm stepping out of my comfort zone.
I also fell into the old habit of holding everything inside. But, I should give myself credit for venting and writing. I might not be where I would like to be with my anxiety but I know I can get there. I also need to get out and walk more, fell into another habit of not getting out of the house as much as I should.
Working on myself! Peace, love, hugs, and blessings to you all! Happy Halloween!

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
be gentle with yourself and patient with the process.
my 3 orphans made halloween weekend so exciting that the actual day finds me too exhausted to overthink anything. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. . .
Here's to your continuing success!
exposure therapy in a very compassionate way,
Of course there were few medications available at that
time but her books helped me so much at the time.
it's not showing up. I read her books many years ago and greatly benefited from them. Her books were about what today would be called exposure therapy. She was very compassionate and encouraging at a time when there were very few medications around to treat anxiety and panic attacks
Would highly recommend her books!
