Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. So I am home. I picked up dogs yesterday. They seem fine. Came in panting etc but calmed and ate and eliminated kind of normal.
however the old Labrador has a weird bark. I assume it's from non stop barking at kennel?
Other than that he is fine. Any input here would be helpful.
my daughter and her "fiancé" already have returned to their home.
my son and girlfriend will leave tomorrow.
it's sad to say goodbye. I also have to dread what my husband will pick on me for from the trip. (Not necessarily me but anything about our kids).
I'm proud of myself they I ever let on to anyone that I was very worried about dogs and had anxiety. I did all the fun things everyone else did. I did have a talk with my daughter who was like the kennel has seen it all so relax
So now I just have to hope my dogs voice comes bark and my husband isn't a maniac to me once everyone is gone.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

First, I hope everyone is doing well, and continuing to fight that good fight! Keep up the great work on yourselves; I'm rooting for all of you!So, I started doing therapy at the beginning of the year, when I was in my most depressed state, but with my therapist, I made big changes and steps in the right direction. But, over a month ago, she couldn't take my insurance anymore, and I had to stop...
Good for you for having a good time on your vacation! That is wonderful news!
No doubt your dog’s bark will soon sound normal again. I imagine some dogs probably bark a lot when in kennel, even if they have been there before, because it is not home.
Try not to project what your husband might say to you. For now be proud that you went on vacation and you did well:)
i'll bet dollars to wishes that your fur baby's voice returns to normal before the end of the week. just betting like a woman who has never bought a lottery ticket, much less approached a betting window.
My dog otherwise seems okay. Eating well. Socializing and drinking. His bark is just high pitched. I’ll give it a couple days.
Back to reality. I’ll see how this goes.
