Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
I just want to first say how grateful I am for this group.. the support is amazing.
So.. I'm not sure why but out of nowhere, my anxiety and panic hit me..
Oh and my insecurities are coming out. I'm in a pretty new relationship and I love my man. He sucks at expressing himself verbally but is pretty good at expressing them physically. He helps me cook, clean, organize, etc.
I'm not sure why it's bothering me so much but dam...is it selfish of me to want flowers? A little gift? Something thoughtful? Like... he gives his friend that's a girl gifts but not me. He says she's his best friend. Okay so I'm jealous and insecure. I also got into his phone and emails... Didn't show much so now I feel horrible for looking.
Also, my 12 yr old son and him barely have a relationship and it hurts me. I mean it would mean so much to me if they were close. I know it will take time..
Thanks for listening

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
Physical relationships are based upon chemical moods and provide physical release of chemical moods.
A relationship without verbal communication is unbalanced.
Your questions as written above are private, and when you journal them, you'll see the pattern of thought that comes through.
A relationship with someone else's child is different when it is approached as a basic communication of being gentle, being kind, being considerate. Saying hello, asking basic questions and listening and working with the child takes a person willing to communicate.
A person who gives someone else gifts that I appreciate and desire, and knows I like those kinds of gifts, yet refuses to give them on their own to me, makes me reconsider what I want to have with them.
It really depends on the circumstances of how your relationship works for you, how it came about, and what you both consider the relationship to be.
Best wishes.
