Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. You've taken the important first step in writing it out.
One of the first things to do to help figure out what's happening with the tremors is keep a written record of when, where, who, what, and how it happens.
Anxiety tremors are treated with even breathing exercises and gentle motion exercises designed to loosen the tightened muscles fast naturally. This can be done anywhere.
When you have repetitive motion tremors, it becomes necessary to loosen those muscles and do the exercises regularly to help the muscles find calm relax.
Playing music is soothing, so when it becomes painful to play, often taking time to write out everything, feelings, emotions, thoughts, and words will release the pain naturally. It takes time to work through everything.
Best wishes as you find your better balance.
I'm not A Guitarist, nor A Musician, but my guitar is one of my most effective anxiety management tools. I play standing up with a guitar strap. Gut pain is one of my most common anxiety symptoms and just having the guitar's sound box and its sonic resonance resting against my belly is a nice little belly massage, all by itself. On the days I am to shaky to get my fingers to work right, just playing open strings and adding whatever vocal harmonies I can muster can go a long way toward stabilizing my condition. Singing and humming get my vote as the best breathing exercises available. Moving around while I play adds in exercise and gentle stretches. I call this little therapy tool, "Guit-chi." It works when I work it and I am worth it.
But that is me and every case is unique. . .
Gentle support while you find what works for you. Welcome aboard.
