Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
I woke up and unfortunately just want to cry today. Some days I don’t wake up this way.
I’m just sad.
Now I also start a worry about something that hasn’t yet happened. One of my dogs , Labrador 7.5 years goes for his checkup next week. But I found another lump under his skin. He’ has another one which they did the needle aspirate and it came back fine. It is the same type when they are soft and you can move them around. But now I have to deal with this. As I’ve said before I hate having this responsibility of these dogs. I don’t mind the day to day but I cannot handle the worry of them. This goes back to us losing a Labrador at 7 from cancer, within days it happened.
So this is already starting to get me worked up.
Also, I personally have to go for my six month checkup for mammography and ultrasound. They are keeping an eye on a couple of things they saw. I mean I am going every six months so I am keeping up with it. But this makes me worked up when the time comes near.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

First, I hope everyone is doing well, and continuing to fight that good fight! Keep up the great work on yourselves; I'm rooting for all of you!So, I started doing therapy at the beginning of the year, when I was in my most depressed state, but with my therapist, I made big changes and steps in the right direction. But, over a month ago, she couldn't take my insurance anymore, and I had to stop...
Breath. Reset. Do something different. Rely on your anxiety management tools. Rinse. Repeat.
Sending you gentle caring as you care for your dog and for yourself. I, too, get worried about medical stuff. It is all the “what if’s”. I wish I could just be normal (like other people) and accept that screenings are meant to keep us safe NOT to scare the beejeebies out of us.
I don’t think I can do this.
I had both dogs I last year. For tests and the days waiting were brutal. I can’t do it again I just can’t. I’ve already have myself sick over it and his appointment is next week.
And of course I have my husband making it worse. The dog will sit on couch with him at night and he must say it every night if not multiple times about the lump on the dog. And like talk to the dog in you know baby dog talk. It’s like just what I need. And that’s what I mean when I feel I take on this responsibility for the entire family of these pets.
I pray constantly for God to help me and you know give me that upper hand. God has to know husband is not a good person. I’m having and extremely rough week.
