My anxiety runs distinct time cycles. Morning used to be the worst for me until I inserted a morning meditation routine. In my case, there was no doubt the anxiety stemmed from the challenges of my work day, as well as the domestic challenges that weave such wicked tendrils into my work day. It's allot to juggle. Getting up an hour before the household stirs where I can take a personal inventory and prepare my psychotherapy tools for the day made a huge diff in how I balance the stresses of my day.
Alas, anxiety can be as nebulous as a fog bank. That early morning anxiety shifted to other, less predictable times of the day. The good news is that the morning meditation breakthroughs made those sneak attacks easier to manage. It still sucks, but it hasn't sucked quite so hard since I found the anxiety management tools that work for me.
