Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. Had three doc appts today.Dealing with a lot. I was okay until I had my third appt with oncology. I didn't realize that when they took my vitals they were going to draw 8 vials of blood. Anxiety went up! I guess too it has something to do with mistakes that medical staff have made. Some serious. Also the fact that I've had to go to ER too many times of late. So right now I associate any clinic with a lot of anxiety. I find that there aren't a lot of caring people in the medical world so it's hard for me to even go. I hope and pray and I won't go unless I'm unconscious and somehow I end up waking up in a hospital in which case I properly will just start screaming. I appreciate the small things in life now like, my 2 dogs, my son, my husband who is more like a best friend. It's easy to take things for granted and I've don't that too. Where you think man, if only this was different or that could change or I could get one of those I'll feel better. The truth is none of those things will make you better. Because I have to learn to look within and find peace of mind in all situations of life. Stop running away from things and go though them and become the stronger person I am meant to be.

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...
What's a nut job to do? Grow, I reckon.
Gentle support while you suffer your growing pains.
One thing I don't know if he really gets is that it is very stressful having something that isn't curable. I'm not used to that. There has always been an end to whatever I had or it was harmless. I know he says I don't need to worry about this condition either but there is stress.
You have a support team with you. I am glad you do. Many hugs.
