Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
Been over a month since I have posted anything so I thought I would give an update.
From my last post, I was waiting to talk to my GF about our relationship as she has been putting me through difficult situations and it really caused my anxiety to rise and question a lot about myself and us. I said I wanted to work on us and try to come to an understanding with both of us but she said she wanted to break up as she was too busy, had pictured long-distance differently, and some other things. She said there was a chance in the future and to reach out to her whenever I was ready to be friends with her because she still wanted me in her life.
Obviously, I was devastated when it happened and wanted to keep her but I didn't beg or plead, I gave her my letter I wrote a couple of days before telling her how much I still loved her and talked about how I was acting. I said I will always be there for her and love her no matter what happens between us. She didn't say much or react to the letter when she read it but that's ok. I started no contact with her immediately as I know it was what I needed to do.
It's now been over a month since all of this has happened and I haven't broken no contact with her and have been happier this last month than I was the last month or so of our relationship. I'm not putting myself out there because I just want to enjoy my college experience now and work on myself. I've been playing ukulele and slowly learning the guitar, I've been more involved in my art and enjoying it once again, and have been talking to my friends no stop and playing games with them. I keep myself distracted for the most part but I never ignore my feelings. When there are days I feel like I need to grieve and such I will because I do miss her still and wish we would talk but if she wanted to she would reach out.
I wish her the best in life and wish she could find someone who makes her truly happy, though I wish it was me I know it's for the better that she finds someone else. Maybe that someone is me in the future but who knows. If it's meant to be it will be.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

First, I hope everyone is doing well, and continuing to fight that good fight! Keep up the great work on yourselves; I'm rooting for all of you!So, I started doing therapy at the beginning of the year, when I was in my most depressed state, but with my therapist, I made big changes and steps in the right direction. But, over a month ago, she couldn't take my insurance anymore, and I had to stop...
I hold that working on my personal development is far more productive than beating my head and heart against the wall of questionable romance. I seriously doubt my marriage could have lasted 40 years without some breaks in the process. My hubby and I hold the years we lived apart as the most important years of our marriage. Those are the years where we learned how to live and let live. We have both been consistently surprised at how often the problems which plagued us before the break ironed themselves out easily after a personal development break.
Gentle support while you discover what the world holds in store for you. Doing well in college is not a guarantee of a bright future, but it certainly can help, allot.
