I do know I am typically only fooling myself when I try to hide my emotions in therapy or anywhere else. In therapy, I am also wasting resources. I am in therapy **to** deal with my emotions. When I hide my emotions in therapy, my time might be better spent watching youtube.

Don't be afraid to show your natural self. She's in there somewhere.
Hope healing happens here.

It wasn't until after I opened myself to the healing mysteries that I came to realize just how much of life I was missing because of that numbness. Fast forward a few decades and there is not a doubt in my mind that the gain was worth the pain. Living fully fully rocks.
Take a risk, Laura. Dare to heal.
Therapy works if you work it and you are worth it.
Keep venting. Your answers are in there.
