I havent posted here in a while, but here is our week so far. Monday noticed that the gas and electric had taken nearly £100 to much. 1. Phone call and its sorted out so that was good. 2. Developed a water leak which is leaking when the shower is working, its landing in the living room, been on to the insurance to discover they only cover the ceiling if damaged. They dont cover the wet floor being pulled up and the pipe fixed. So its down to us we arent well off. Currently looking for builders. The ceiling is liable to come down at any time. Its right
above our major computer. Also we have only just a few days ago come back from holiday and I had 2 hours of ironing to do.
Hoping that the quotes are not too high.
Really worried, no one to help, most family are either living in a different part of the country, or dead.

Maybe try to look at it this way... see if this helps at all... That it is lucky that you discovered this leak now, before things got even worse with that leak. You caught it now, which is a good thing. I don't know how bad it is, but I don't think the whole ceiling will come down very soon. You will have time to get it fixed.

Hard to do, but maybe try to look at the positive parts of these hassles you are dealing with. That things could be worse.

It’s an expense for sure, but I pray that something comes through for you. My brother has a friend that is knowledgeable about all that stuff, but they’re slow to fix it - fortunately for us, the leak hasn’t been horrible but my anxiety is that the floor will fall apart.
