so i have an issue with my breathing, i feel like I'm constantly breathing incorrectly and i freak out because i feel like I'm not getting enough air... at night i feel like i can hear my heart beat so loudly i feel the need to yawn or take a few deep breaths in to get a deep breath its been rele bothering me the past 3 nights i've gotten like no sleep and its frustrating... i've had every test imaginable done and been to at least 6 doctors.... all respond "there is nothing physically wrong with you" anyone feel these feelings?

wot u describe is wot im going through, anxiety...u need to talk to someone about your breahin as it helps. when we suffer with anxiety our brain makes everything seem 10 times worse than it is. and we worry about it then it becomes this vicious circle we cant get out off. so u need to sort it. try take ya mind off it by reading or computer games. im getting there i have bad moments i think i always will x

it does seem your anxiety is somewhat causing this when this happens is there something you are worried about or someone

Yes, I have those symptoms too. It is anxiety and I know I am all tense and not breathing correctly. I know it is anxiety because if I get distracted after awhile I am breathing on track again.

i think subconsciously i am b/c i feel like im not worried about anything but there is no explanation other than I'm thinking of something in the back of my mind and not even realize it

Exactly. It can be just a negative thought that you had or a stressful time.

I have felt like I couldn't get enough air for the past few weeks. I know it is anxiety related but I am not worried about anything. My life is good so that's what makes it so weird. I haven't found anything to really help me. I would say exercise works the by staying busy so you don't think about it.
