Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
You know when you have an unexpected bad experience (possibly a crime), and it's so shocking your mind blocks it out?
This is exactly what my mind has done. A few months ago sort of a trauma surfaced in my mind, and it was when I was 12 having private tuition. My teacher was teaching in another teacher's house and the place was cluttered with stuff out ready to be used. I was struggling to write to the end of the pages in my exercise book (had a habit of writing to the middle and then beginning a new line), so she threatened to cut my book in half. Then, she went to the window and picked up a saw and with a smile on her face, held it about 8 inches away from my right hand. I began feeling terrified and just froze while she ignored how I was reacting/appearing.
Now that this awful memory has hit me, I'm thinking to make a police report. It won't leave my head.
How many kids whether 5 yrs old or 13 yrs old, would find it funny having a huge saw shoved near to one of their hands? Surely not many

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...
I don't know how long ago you were 12, but I'm not sure what the police could do, even if that was last month. Still. . . Offering stabilizing support while you process, whatever way you take the processing.
I'll see how I go but if this keeps bothering me I'll have to go to police, simply so I can get it off my chest (kind of). Bottling up is awful
I’m in agreeance, if a therapist makes fun of you in a negative way, I would start looking for a new one.
