I wonder if it is normal to get more tired as one grows older..., I am not that old though...
Just waking up afetr sleeping 8 hours and heading out the door at 9 , working till 1, dropping the dog off to the vet, driving 2 teens to activities .The drives were 10 to 15 minute drive. I just laid in bed and i feel exhausted. Like I want to stay in bed until tomorrow. But I can't, I have a zoom meeting, laundry to fold etc. I mean, today I did not work that much and still tired. I stopped taking Zoloft about 10 days ago.It is for sure out of my system. I don't feel sad, just tired.
I know, I need to eat super healthy, drink water etc and I will. Next week I have a doctor's appoiment to get a new med.I hope it gives me energy. With Zoloft at first I felt more energy until it did not do much for me.Now I feel super tired. Hopefully , I will feel better tomorrow. I am not a morning person, I wish I could start my day at noon.

I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...
I think it’s worth mentioning to your doc and maybe a check up is in order.
Pre-COVID, when I still had friends and associates my age, inside my circle, we believed the mellowing of our physical systems made it easier to work smarter than harder.
I care for young children. My age peers abandoned ship in the first weeks of the masky dask. Here in year two of the masky dask, the social distances between us look greater than the friendships can bridge. Stay masked. Stay distant.
You can mention that in your doctor’s appointment. I’m glad you feel a bit better today.
Exercise helps me to stay energized. A 30-minute walk in the park makes a difference. I also take a power nap to recharge me. Although you are busy with daily activities, try to do things that you will enjoy. Self-care will help you to recharge physically and emotionally.
Stay well. God bless.
Anyways we are all so unique that it is not worth it putting us in molds. Thanks for your reflections.
