Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
I keep thinking of things to post about. There are a few. Lately, I've been feeling lonely. I am looking for a word to describe what I need. Darn it! The word escapes me. My mind needs this word. I think the word is intriguing. I need intriguing conversation. I am tired of hearing crap that I don't care about. My mind is hungry for interesting topics. I just feel like a dartboard with everyone monopolizing conversations and talking about the same crap that I've been hearing about for years. I need people in my life who are moving forward. I really get mad when people take up my precious time with this crap. I am trying not to single anyone out. I want to talk about music, true crime, spirituality, Keto, working out, sales and discounts, reincarnation, just things that expand our minds. Actually, I sent a text on Messenger to an old friend this morning and I forgot how she could make me laugh. We haven't really been in touch but I wished her a Merry Christmas and she is excited that she is going to have her first grandchild. I told her about Kohl's baby department and that struck up a whole conversation about Kohl's and deals. I really enjoyed our conversation and she wants to get together. Today, I am getting together with my best friend who wanted to go to her favorite restaurant and I agreed and made reservations but I really wasn't happy that it was going to cost me about $50 or more and they don't even serve salad. So due to expected snowfall, we are going to a bar in her town instead. It will be much cheaper. I have heard enough about her boyfriend and his dysfunctional family so I hope we talk about school people. I tried to talk to her about two new hall monitors and a new substitute teacher who have formed a bond and hang out in the classroom when they should be doing their job, but she didn't have much to say. I am old school when it comes to work. I do my job. Can you tell that I am frustrated? I get angry because I don't have a ton of energy to spare and I don't need to be depleted.

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...
we are all walking contradictions, partly truth and partly fiction.
But friendship goes two ways we each should be able to talk and vent and share.
