Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. Does any one know about sleep stages and what can severly interrupt them? For the past few months I quickly go into the dream stage and dream intensely and while there I'm half awake, then I wake up a bit disoriented, then go back to this horrible stage and stay there until I wake up extremely tried and scared. This last for about 30min to one hour, then I'm awake for a day and a half, before the above repeats itself. It's terrifying and makes me not want to sleep. Everyday I'm tortured and scared by the thought of sleep. As I'm typing this I'm crying because I'm going to try going to bed at 11pm since I typically fall into my tormented 1 hour max sleep at 5-8am. I don't know what to do, my daughter has started to complain about dizzness and nausea, I know it's anxiety from watching me suffer and waking up to find me crying and rocking back and frouth on the couch. If anyone knows what's happening with me, please contact.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

First, I hope everyone is doing well, and continuing to fight that good fight! Keep up the great work on yourselves; I'm rooting for all of you!So, I started doing therapy at the beginning of the year, when I was in my most depressed state, but with my therapist, I made big changes and steps in the right direction. But, over a month ago, she couldn't take my insurance anymore, and I had to stop...
Writing things out in a journal before bed, will also help get your worries out.
I hope you get a good night's sleep tonight!
But no I did not take the medication and my doctor told me after I refused to take it, that she wants me to wait before taking such drugs until I could see a therapist next week. She then prescribed me hydroxyzine and said I may feel more confident taking it over the other medication, however, I refuse to take that as well. I can get to sleep, it's just so lite and fragmented with frequent, disorientated arousals.
