Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

I started having sinus headaches with nausea last January. (2010) I eventually wound up seeking medical help, and a doctor put me on a cocktail of meds (Singular/Steroid nose spray.) The first night I took them, I had my first panic attack in my life. (41 years at the time.) Since that night, I've struggled with anxiety. I never had it prior.
I do notice that when my sinus headache comes on, it seems to come with increased anxiety, no matter how hard I try to accept it. I'm convinced that this is an allergy of some sort, because allergies can make your body sort of speed up.
That said, I do find that if I relax into the symptoms... I recover much more quickly.
In fact, I had it happen today. Felt fine most of the afternoon, then a pain started in my upper nose.... and I knew what was coming. Quickly, the pain spread to my head... then the mild nausea and slightly increased anxiety came along for the ride.
It's been a year, and I've yet to be able to figure out what is causing this. I've had CAT scans, (some) allergy testing, tried cutting out Gluten, changed my diet, you name it. It happens mostly at work, but can happen at home, too. I'm at a loss... and still searching.
In any case, I definitely feel like there's a correlation between the two... even though my true anxiety disorder did start as the result of a drug reaction.
It always makes us a feel a little "off" when that happens, which leads us to analyze why we feel that way and then the anxiety starts.
I agree with shemp about the spicy food. Get a good bucket of hot wings! All that crap will be running out of your nose in no time! lol
