Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
Feeling anxious this morning in a way that I haven't for a while. I've been no great about my self care the past couple days, which is probably contributing to me feeling this way, and then there is just anxiety being anxiety. I'm feeling it in my body which is always pretty triggering for me. And, I'm sitting here by myself while everyone else is still asleep just focusing on how I feel and getting the 2nd and 3rd anxiety. Things have really been going well lately, so this is kinda out of the blue, and I think that makes it even more disconcerting.
Just gonna try and present, stay in the moment, and ride this out. Mediatate, work, rest and try to enjoy some sunshine.
May be all find some peace in our day.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
In my own anxiety snot knots, the periods of smooth sailing can produce some of my meanest anxiety attacks. That folk adage, "This, too, shall pass" becomes an ominous portent of doom and gloom. The higher I am on the proverbial ladder, the further I have to fall when this, too, passes. My intense desire to keep the ship sailing smoothly gets me adding still more buttons to my psychic control panel. Maybe another stick up the ass of the stick that's already up my control freaky ass?
Thank you for the reminder to "Just try and present, stay in the moment, and ride this out. Mediatate, work, rest and try to enjoy some sunshine."
Sounds like just what the doctor ordered. Doctor's orders are always more easily said than done. Oh, for the love of balance. . .
I've been lurking a bit, but not checking in or responding to people as much as I ought to be. Reaching out to others helps keep me grounded and out of the fantasy of thoughts that can set up shop in my head.
Oh balance... the thing I find myself forgetting about balance is that means experiencing both the distress along with the comfort. The nagging, occasionally acute, discomfort that keeps me from becoming too complacent and wiping out because I wasn't paying attention.
May we all find some peace.
