2. when you're actually up there, pretend you're talking to an empty room. Look over people's heads to the back of the room. Think only of what you're saying, nothing else.
This should get you through the presentation.
The anticipatory anxiety will probably be the worst part. Distract yourself.
Run through it two or three times if possible, so you know how long it takes, and a bit about what might happen during. If you decide major changes are needed, do the practice again after making them. Keep telling yourself silently that you will not panic, and you won't.
When you look to the back of the room, imagine that you see someone you love, smiling at you like they would be if they could be there. Good luck. You will do fine.
Here's another technique for beating panic/stage fright. Make your breath your friend, and do the 2-second meditation. That is, think about regulating your breathing, so that it is deep and even. This will help you to keep your brain oxygenated and also help with returning your focus to your message and your presentation.
