Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
I ended up in the ER last night with a UTI and was prescribed the antibiotic Ceftin 500mg 2x a day oral suspension (liquid, not pill). I heard the taste is awful, and that it can cause diarrhea, nausea, depression, anxiety and constant/hard to control vomiting. Most of these reviews came from a website called askpatient where 90% of the reviews were awful. I'm deathly afraid of throwing up, and really don't want to take anything that can possibly put me at risk of it, but at the same time I don't want this infection anymore. My anxiety is already as and I don't need it getting worse. I take probiotics daily and I'll be upping my probiotic dosage when I start the antibiotics tomorrow morning but I'm still totally freaking out. I've been taking 2x my normal dosage of probiotics today as well. I have emetrol and dramamine (anti nausea drugs) on hand just in case but I'm seriously freaking out about taking this med, I really don't want to. I've only ever taken amoxicillin and had no side effects but this is a different class of antibiotic therefore I could react very differently. This antibiotic, Ceftin, is a lot stronger than amoxicillin, apparently. There's also a chance I could end up being allergic, although I'm not a very allergy-prone person. I'm also not vomit prone (haven't in years, but that doesn't mean I can't with this drug). Have any of you guys ever taken it?? What should I do? Help :(

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.

"don't be a hate hole" has been one of my recent mantras which seems to be escaping my mouth more and more often. it emerges when i am faced with the endless list of chores i would rather not deal with. insurance. head lice. bureaucracy. in-laws. the list goes on and on and on and on, ad infinitum.reality checks requested. am i making sense?"ever'thin they is but loving leaves a rust on your...

With infections, anything can happen. So, put your mind in "do it now" mode and keep focused on the positive actions.
Best wishes!
