Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

I just needed to print out a tax form from an email. Nothing fancy. The last time I printed from this laptop was not too long ago and it has been working fine for I'm not quite sure how many years. The farm office is just far enough from the house that it is on a different network. At present I am working at the house while I care for the foster children. I carry my laptop to the office when I need to print. It is configured to work on both networks. I AssUMed it would work as seamlessly as it has for the last umpteen printouts. Not so this time. Again.
It might be delusional of me to think myself a digital artist. For sure Stephen Spielberg isn't calling my number, but, at worst, all my shrinks agree that it is Art Therapy. My first digital works of art used layover dot matrix print in the 70's. The tech flight from there to the plotters and lasers I retired on in the 90's was fast and furious. That retirement was forced by advanced carpul tunal syndrome. Construction work was my physical therapy. It worked. I have since been able to resume my personal art, but? ? ? For the last decade or two, it seems like I'm recalibrating every time the internet sneezes. The internet is even sneezier than a covidic isolation ward. I HATE having my art studio on The Cloud. Is it delusional of the to feel like Picasso trying to work a studio in Grand Central Station?
Methinks I've already fixed the glitch, but don't want to test the theory while caring for a two year old in the office.
Gnarl, gnarl, gnash, gnash. . . Just venting. . .

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...
I don’t know if it’s the printer, the device, the connection or what. All
I know is it seems like when I really NEED to print something, which is not that often, it decides to give me the proverbial finger.
I dream of an off-line studio system. I'll carry the finished product to the internet on a pen drive.
