Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
This seems like a really dumb question, but how do you not take something personal when it feels pointed?
I am currently at work, wondering what I did to piss everyone off today? I feel like I came into work around my normal time (which never affects anyone), and now I have people angry at me. I feel like everyone is trying to make it difficult for me in my office. I share an office with 6 other people, but today there are only 3 in the office, and they are in and out once in awhile. I checked the schedule to see when an appropriate time would be to close the door so I can make a professional call. As soon as I close the door I get two of them walking in, and staying in almost the whole time that I am on the call. And then they get ready to leave the room and decide that I don't need the light on like I am not even in the room....
Why do I feel like my emotional health is never considered here? Why do I have to consider everything for everyone else, but I don't get considered?

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...
Steadying support while you tend your own emotional needs. Inside my own strictly personals, my emotional needs seem to be most effectively met when I do it myself. I know where all the sore spots are.
It's NOT personal. It is a business place. You get paid to work.
Focus on what you can do to improve your well-being by keeping track of what you do for you, what you are doing to keep up in the work place, and leave the rest out of it.
You are NOT responsible for what others say and do, You are responsible for what you do, say, and how you respond.
Best wishes. Some days just get started off track. Keep yourself on track.
Stay professional. The higher ups will notice in time and see the difference between you and them.
I have had those days and ultimately remembered my paycheck was coming soon. I was getting paid to be there.
