Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
Wondering if anyone else had the theory that anxiety is our bodies way of telling us that something (that is all over) is wrong. After 6 months of chronic pain from kinking it I had a crazy scary infection break out called impetigo. It cleared up but I started to notice extretions all over when getting out of the shower. I started self treating for something, because the doctor were no help, just like with my neck. After about a month and half I finally got into a really good routine, was doing well with my skin, and noticed that in general my unexplainable anxiety was practically gone. I got distracted though and it's come back even worse, but even though there are issues causing anxiety I feel the unexplainable anxiety increases and decreases depending on how well I keep up with my skin, and how well I keep up with vitamins D and K2, and edible grade diatomaceous earth. My theory is something that's newly being researched by western medicine, and will take forever to figure out if it is the cause, but do other people feel like there's a serious underlying health problem that's actually causing the anxiety? I think it's a message, like pain, only not so intense because it's a slow growing issue. Hoping I'm not the only one who feels this way....

Me, I don't look like one at all. But I do have terrible skin allergies and I use a lot of hydrocortisone.
I think it might be a cluster. :)
That applies to actual anxiety attacks, however; many suffer social anxiety and panic attacks related to specific fears, so the above statement would not apply.
It may make a roomful of anxiety patients even More afraid, if it is suggested that there is something Wrong inside, that is causing an anxiety attack, you know?
Yet I do believe its our bodies' way of telling us something is off. I have had chronic lack of sleep for a year and a half now, situationally, and my anxiety attacks have come back (after being gone, or controlled, for years).
So maybe my body is yelling, "get some sleep!!"
