They had a study about being happy and guess what, those who thought about being happy were no happier. A football coach wrote a book calling the Winning takes care of itself. The thesis is don't worry about winning, work on doing the things that will make you a better player and the winning will come naturally.
It’s so interesting though that on these days, I literally feel like I can’t do anything. I know that’s ridiculous and wrong. And I understand what you are saying.
I have much to do but am actually upset that I feel so darn bad.
So overwhelming today. I don’t get it.
crying is one of the most cathartic of ways to vent excess anxiety buildups which create the classic anxiety overdose.
indulge yourself.
rocking you gently and crying with you.
you're doing better than you are giving yourself credit for.
Felt bad all day even doing my normal things to get out of it and taking my meds.
I do have something I’m worried about though so I assume that is the root of it.
I will say that crying helps Sarah. Just give in to it and let it out. At first it’s uncomfortable, but if you let yourself go it can indeed be cathartic.
We’re with you. You aren’t going through this alone.
And believe me I cry!!
Don’t you wonder why some people are so predisposed to this condition. Like I have an older sister and she doesn’t get anxiety like this. I had postpartum depression and I think that may have been the start to all of this.
But why. And why can’t there be a cure. I know there are meds and therapy but that’s truly not enough. You could have 24 hour round the clock someone with you. That would be the only answer I see.
To your point, everyone just told me to calm down… but I couldn’t!
As for a cure.. I think it’s a combination of the right therapies, whatever those may be. I don’t think there will ever be a “silver bullet”… we just gonna keep trying until we get relief.
Keep your head up! You can do this.
