Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
So I'm really down because no one likes my pictures anymore. And my pics are the bomb! I'm doing some great things and all I do is post photos of myself. I love having that database of pics that I can look back on and say hey that year I was doing this and that day I was doing that, etc. I never ever really received many female likes. I have a lot of female haters. Always have been that way. Some folk think I brag but I don't. It's just when I visit fab places and do fab things I like to post the photos of me in those places. I used to get a lot of male likes but now I don't even get those. I do have a new boyfriend now and we really look good together so I'm not sure if all of this is jealousy. But I see so many other photos that aren't better than mine and those photos get much more likes than me. So I'm like what in the world is going on. Why don't folk like my pics? I'm gonna keep on posting pics because I like to have that catalogue of photos. Sometimes I can just sit and look at my pics all day long. I've done that so many times. lol I'm so fascinated with photography and how I look in the photos. I love looking at my outfits and my hairstyles and the background of the pics. People used to love looking at my pics. But now hardly anyone likes them. Perhaps my pics don't look good to them. But they really look phenomenal to me. I'm in my 50s and don't look anywhere near it. But something has changed. I've even looked at pics where I posted years ago and got a lot of likes and they don't look better than my current pics. It's just such a mystery and well it has me puzzled and depressed.

It's going to get hotter here with Thursday being the hottest. It's noon and 75f feels more like 80 or more.I've been cleaning up the deck in this morning and cleaning the windows outside. Then I cut up a pallet in half, I've decided to call it quits now because I went a bit light headed. Joanne, some drugs we take have an effect on us in the heat, I know a couple of mine do, maybe yours...

Artist to artist, keeping a continuous audience/following is, far and away, harder than creating new works. I figure that if I am creating for the sake of winning the applause, I've missed the point, entirely.
For what it's worth
To maintain a continuous audience, expanding your repertoire might be a good idea. However stunning the subject, a one-trick pony seldom gets more than five minutes of fame, if even that.
Nor do I see posts. If there has ever been a broken record it is mine complaining that DS has ads all over your post so I can not read. Is it just me or is anyone else having that problem?
Hugs!
What exactly are you wanting?
Everything is in a single paragraph-and the one common word is photo. If you are feeling motivated to be acknowledged through your photos, then work out exactly what type of acknowledgement you want.
Social media is different than being in person connection.
Negative comments belong to the person who says them. They are NOT your problem. However, in most cases, you can automatically delete them, which is what I do where I can, for my well-being.
Depends exactly on what you want.
Please stop looking for external validation. It is causing you stress.
Does it really matter what others think of your pictures if it brings you joy?
