This happens to me when I am under a lot of stress in my life. Can you think of anything that is particularly stressful in your life lately?
Getting to the root of the stress, maybe even getting therapy for the stress, will help you to calm and start getting a peaceful night's sleep again.

Thank you so much for the suggestions and words of encouragement! I have been under a lot of stress and maybe even reliving some past traumas.
